What they did
The accountant's questionnaire was stuck inside a web app. Claude in Chrome listed the fields, a few pages at a time; Claude Code filled in the values based on the documents and flagged gaps, like the daughter's US tax ID; then Chrome typed everything back in.
How it went
The title says Claude "almost got it right": it worked, but it needed checking.
Good to know
Always ask for the list of what's missing; that's where accountants lose the most time.
The prompt
Here is my accountant's questionnaire [paste the fields] and my documents [list]. Fill in each field, citing the source document, and list separately what's missing or looks inconsistent.
Replace what is in [brackets]. Prompt written by us from the account, not a literal copy of the source. Do not paste other people’s personal data (privacy laws such as LGPD and GDPR apply).
Summary in our own words. Results as stated in the original account; we have not tested or audited them. Read the source ↗ Case found via agentusecases.ai (Alex Finn); text and prompt rewritten by us. Found a mistake?
