What they did
ClickBus integrated its coach-ticket platform into Google Gemini's Connected Apps ecosystem, and says it is the first in the coach sector to do so. Since October 28, 2026, users ask in chat for something like schedules from São Paulo to Curitiba next Friday, get options with time, seat type, price and partner carriers, and are sent to the ClickBus site to complete the purchase. The connection is enabled in Gemini settings under Customize and Connectors, or by typing @ClickBus in the chat.
How it went
The feature is available in the Gemini app and on the web. A ClickBus survey in 2026, with about one thousand participants, found that 42% of the platform's travelers had already used AI to plan a trip. The company has operated since 2013 with more than 300 carriers, more than 95,000 routes and says it has issued more than 100 million tickets.
Good to know
The purchase does not close inside Gemini: the chat only searches and compares, and checkout stays on the ClickBus site. The 42% figure comes from the company's own survey, not an independent study.
The prompt
I want to travel from [origin city] to [destination city] on [date or date window], preferring [seat type or price range]. Lay out the options as if I were comparing them in Gemini with ClickBus: departure and arrival time, duration, seat type, estimated price and what I should check before buying. If anything is missing for a fair comparison, list the questions I still need to ask.
