What they did

He built a career profile in JSON and a weighted scoring prompt. Since the Chrome extension can't read Skills, he recreated the prompt as a shortcut that pulls the profile from a Gist. With a job posting open on LinkedIn, the shortcut gives a score and explains it.

How it went

He now filters jobs faster; the post doesn't include hiring numbers.

Good to know

Explicit weights (salary, remote, field) make scores comparable across postings.

The prompt

My profile: [experience, skills, preferences]. Weights: [criterion: weight]. Score this job posting [paste] from 0 to 100 using these weights, explain each score, and list 3 questions to ask the recruiter.

Replace what is in [brackets]. Prompt written by us from the account, not a literal copy of the source. Do not paste other people’s personal data (privacy laws such as LGPD and GDPR apply).

Summary in our own words. Results as stated in the original account; we have not tested or audited them. Read the source ↗ Case found via agentusecases.ai (Alex Finn); text and prompt rewritten by us. Found a mistake?
