What they did

Inup Serviços e Tecnologia, one of the startups in the second OpenLab round run by Procempa, designed an AI contract audit system with Porto Alegre's Comptroller General (CGM). The agent checks the items on the oversight checklist against document packages for outsourced labor contracts.

How it went

At the midpoint review on October 21, 2026, the tool had validated checklists on more than 30 real document packages. Review time per contract fell from 35 hours to about two, and the city projects oversight coverage above 95% of these processes.

Good to know

It is a pilot halfway through a four month test period, with partial results published by the city itself.

The prompt

I'm an auditor at [agency] and review [type of contract] contracts. I'll paste the oversight checklist [paste] and one contract's documents [paste or attach]. For each checklist item, say whether it is met, partly met or missing, quote the passage that proves it and list what to request from the supplier. Don't mark anything as met without quoting the evidence.

Replace what is in [brackets]. Prompt written by us from the account, not a literal copy of the source. Do not paste other people’s personal data (privacy laws such as LGPD and GDPR apply).
