What they did
At Syhus, staff compared thousands of invoices (notas fiscais) recorded in two different systems by hand, using spreadsheets. The firm built an AI agent that does part of this check and delivers a spreadsheet with the result. In another project, it automated data gathering for the analysis of each client's CNAE (business activity code) and tax regime. It says it now runs 14 AI agents and 17 RPA bots, on tasks such as support triage, document categorization, trial balance review and tax form analysis.
How it went
According to the company, the invoice check now frees about 660 hours of work a month, and the CNAE and tax regime analysis fell from about six hours to two and a half hours per project (about 58% less). Syhus says revenue grew 25% in 2025 without adding staff. The figures were released by the company itself, without audited statements.
Good to know
A person still reviews the agent's spreadsheet and approves the result, and the tax interpretation stays with the consultant. Before building agents, the firm centralized data from its various systems in its own platform.
The prompt
I will paste two lists of invoices for [client] in [period]: one from [system A] and one from [system B]. Match them by [access key or tax ID + number + series] and classify each as matching, in one base only, different amount, different date or duplicate, with the likely reason. If a field is missing, mark it as missing data. Deliver a table of discrepancies for me to review and do not suggest accounting adjustments.
